E-Squared by Pam Grout

Today, I want to talk about this book called E-Squared by Pam Grout.  She also wrote the book called E-Cubed, which is a sequel to E-Squared. I read it back in Aug 2015.  In this book, she talks about aligning yourself to the Field of Potentiality, or FP.  It is basically an invisible energy field that has the ability to influence the physical aspects of the world.  You get what you focus on.  The words you use, and the thoughts you think, create your reality.

In this book, there are 9 experiments listed.  One of them was to ask the FP to show you what you want to see.  I asked the FP to show me butterflies, which was suggested in the book, within the next 48 hours.  I thought..

I live in the city, there are no green space around where I live, where would I see butterflies?   The next moment, I decided to go brush my teeth.  In the mirror, I saw the big butterfly printed on the t-shirt I was wearing.  The next day.  I happened to pull out another shirt that has butterflies on it.  Not only that!  While at work, I noticed on one of the thank you cards hanging on the wall… a butterfly.

From that moment on, I had started asking the FP about writing opportunities.  I kept thinking, I would like to become a writer, give me a chance at writing.  Within a day or two, I came across the writing contest that I wrote about last August.  Then I kept searching for other possibilities.  That’s because writing long fictions is not my cup of tea.  I believe that by aligning my thoughts, that was how I came across the ideas of colouring books, the kids books, the illustrations, etc.

It was a few months ago, my husband felt that a big change was needed.  He wants to become a web developer. So I said, we will keep asking for more coding opportunities, and a few doors had opened up.  There is still a long way to go, but we have been shown the way.  This is undeniably incredible.

To finish off, I would like to quote a short passage from Pam’s book.

“The only thing you need do is devote your mind only to things you want. If you want peace, think of peace.  If you want love, think of love.  If you want Jimmy Choo pumps, think of Jimmy Choo pumps.  Do not think about how peace looks impossible or that love seems fleeting or that there’s no money in your bank account for Jimmy Choo pumps.  Keep your mind focused only on what you want.”

I highly recommend you give this book a try!
